I know that wind will cancel it, but what about rain? I'll be there this Sunday and am getting nervous.....

Thanks!

I asked the same question in post #14 of this thread

No one has answered yet.

We have a reservation for BB F! dinner package.
If it's likely to be canceled, I'd probably cancel BB.

fingers crossed and pixiedust:pixie dust for Sunday's evening weather.

Light rain not necessarily...moderate to heavy rain...yes they will cancel.

That is only for show time. If it rains then clears up, they will still run.

I'm hoping the rain in the morning scares people away and that it clears up for the night time entertainment

I read somewhere that if you have reservations for the BB F! dinner and it looks like rain will cancel the show, you can still eat at BB and ask them to change your reservation to just a regular dinner. I believe you can do this to avoid the last-minute cancellation fee of $10 a person and also instead of getting charged for the more expensive F! package dinner. Please double check with a cast member to make sure this is true! The downside would be if you opted to change to the non-F! dinner and then the show went on after all.

And it's definitely cancelled if it gets too rainy. That happened to us a couple of years ago. Cast members said it makes it too slippery for the performers.

When I checked the forecast earlier today it had showers in the morning and clearing for the evening.

It might have been my post you read as we had this problem back in February. It was raining pretty steady before our BB F! time and I called and they said they could waive the fee to cancel, but if I went to dinner and they ended up canceling F! I was out of luck. At dinner our server mentioned the weather and asked if we wanted to switch to the regular menu, we decided to risk it and it worked out. The rain stopped for a bit and we watched the first show (only difference was no rope swinging during the Peter Pan sequence) as usual, sans fireworks though. The rain picked up after that and I found out the second show was cancelled. I felt bad for all those people who had likely risked it like me, but lost out on the Fantasmic portion of the evening.
