Will Plegine and Adderall show the same on a drug test

Yes I am posting under a different name. I have a legal script for Plegine in which I take. I also take a 15mg pill of Adderall for which right now I do not have a legal script for. I am wondering if I were to get drug tested at my job, pee in a cup, will they be able to tell the difference in the two drugs, or will they show up the same?

So, what you are asking is if you can fool a drug test because you are taking a heavily controlled drug illegally?

Not a pharmacist, but it looks like they are different drugs. I certainly wouldn't take the chance of peeing in a cup, knowing I was taking a controlled substance illegally. It could turn out to be a major nightmare.

Adderall has active ingredients of amphetamine aspartate; amphetamine sulfate; dextroamphetamine saccharate; dextroamphetamine sulfate. It is often used in attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.

Plegine has active ingredients of phendimetrazine tartrate

Also take into consideration that you are properly using the medication as prescribed. In the manner they are meant to be ingested.

You're going to have much better luck asking on forums focused on drug testing.

However, my armchair opinion is that they'll both show on the basic amphetamine test, and it won't match your prescribed dosage. Sending it out for gas chromatography is up to your employer/their lab.

Agree. You will test positive for amphetamines. And in a much higher dose than what your prescription is for. Major red flag. A detailed analysis would show the two different drugs- one of which you are taking illegally. Another major red flag.

I am not sure Plegine is Classified as a true Amphetamine, so i don't it would even screen as one but the Adderall would.

I presume the OP is trying to 'enhance' the weight loss effects of the Plegine by taking amphetamines.

Definitely not two drugs I would ever take together. Sounds like a recipe for a stroke to me.

Never mind the drug test, you're putting your health at serious risk by doing this.

I am really hoping this is just a bored summer troll. The thought that a parent might decide to take their kids' meds in the summer when the kid does not need t perform in school did cross my mind though
Could also be a teen with a summer job (or suspicious parents running a test) who is buying from another teen or stealing from a sibling.

OP, if you are for real, please do not put your own health at risk in this way, or leave someone else without medicine that they are supposed to have.

Did you already take the drug test?

If not, go to your doctor and ask about getting a script for the adderall. If you truly need it, it shouldn't be a problem. If you don't need it, you need to stop taking it.
