Will people cancel their reservations if no codes are released?

Will some cancel their reservations if no codes are released?

  • Yes, can't afford to go and was banking on codes being released

  • Maybe, not sure

  • No way... budgeted just in case of no codes

We booked according to our budget and will still go. With codes we will add things onto our trip like tickets to La Nouba or a behind the scenes tour.

Those extras won't happen without codes.

i just booked the dolphin instead 159 for deluxe cant be beat and no ap or code is needed

I would never book a trip if I needed codes to do it.

We booked at the CSR at a price we were happy paying. If codes come out it is just a bonus or maybe an upgrade.

But we are going with or without codes! :cool1:

Nope. As a matter of fact, our trip is already paid off. If a code comes out I'm not even sure we'll be eligible since we already paid. Besides, how much of a discount can a code get you anyways? Is it really worth not going just because you didnt get a code?

Just remember the Dolphin has a mandatory $10 resort fee, $7 parking fee and won't be participating with ME. That said it's still probably a better deal than one of the Disney EPCOT resorts.

Magical Express

Thank you!

I can't vote in the poll, because we don't have a reservation... waiting for AP rates to come out to make our reservation :wizard:

We've already got a AAA discount and are hoping for a code. We would go without either, but it's nice to have some discount.

I do things a little differently. I wait to make my reservation until a code comes out. I figure the fewer rooms already reserved, the more likely a code will come. If a code doesn't come out within 2 months of when I want to go, then I'll book AAA rate. Right now I'm hoping for a code for May. If I don't see one by the middle of the month, I'll book.

I would only cancel my ressies only if I can't get a good air rate. I would book the room that I can afford. If the codes come out and I can apply it, that's great! That's like being sprinkled with ~*~Pixie Dust~*~

I don't hve to worry about codes--got an unbelievable rate at the Dolphin, so I don't have to play the code waiting game. We'll be going. :cheer2: :cheer2:

I was doing Disney looooooong before I knew about codes and I will still do Disney even if the codes stop! I have my next trip budgeted on codes NOT being released. I stay in the Allstars anyway, so I'm expecting to pay $99 a night for a room. I don't need the moderates nor the deluxes, very happy with what I get at a value for the time DH and I are there. :teeth:

Not only will I NOT cancel if no codes come out, I am hoping that someone who booked the Polynesian concierge in the hope of a code coming out decides to cancel so I can grab their reservation! :)

I hope that doesn't sound mean! LOL I just meant that if someone decides to change their plans and downgrade to a regular room at the Polynesian, I'll be waiting and calling a few times day so I can change our current reservations to concierge :) Currently there is no concierge availability for our dates.
