Will parks be crowded on Halloween Day?

Do most people go to Magic Kingdom and stay for the MNSSHP or do they rest (etc..) at their resort and just go to MK for the party? How are other parks on Halloween day? We are thinking about going to MGM for the morning and doing RNRC and TOT and a few other things. Do you think it will be very crowded? We are not going to MNSSHP that night.

Since I've never toured WDW on Halloween, I'm going to bump this back to page one for you, so that some of our veterans can offer advice.

We went to MK last Halloween 2003. Didn't seem to be any more crowded than usual. We didn't stay for MNSSHP as we had gone to that a few days before, but it was fun to ride HM on Halloween. Wish they had decorated it with "Nightmare" last year. But during the day, the park looked just like a regular day.
