Will our plan work?

So we leave in 2 days! On Tuesday we will be at AK and we currently have the following plan:

Park opens at 9am
RD Navi or Dinosaur and EE
FOP FP 9:55-10:55
Tusker House ROL Package 10:25
EE FP 11:20-12:20
Wild Africa Trek 12:30

I am fine if we miss the EE FP as we will just ride it after our Trek if we don't rope drop.

I am not sure if we will watch ROL, but since we are on the Dining Plan we did the Package in case we decide to. I want to see Pandora at night as I have only ever seen it during the day and am thinking that we can do Navi then or try for it as a 4th, 5th, 6th FP etc.

However, would you RD Dinosaur and EE then? I am most worried about making our TH ADR. I have been trying to move it back even 5-10 minutes, but no luck.

We are not planning on doing Safari this day as we will do it our 2nd AK day along with FOTLK (unless we have time this day).

Our must dos are Kali River Rapids (have a FP+ for 3:30-4:30), the trails, UP show (Maybe?), FOP, EE, Safari, FOTLK, Dinosaur.

Like I said we have another half day planned at least and then our departure day is up in the air. Our half day we have Safari, FOTLK, and FOP FP+.

How does our plans look for AK?

When we rode FOP in November, it took 50 minutes from tapping our magic band at the FP entrance to walking out of the store at the end. We rode twice, and both times it took 50 minutes. Other people have reported shorter times, but you really are not leaving enough time from the start of that FP to your Tusker reservation. You need to be done with the ride and walking to Tusker by 10:15. You can enter the FP queue 5 minutes early, so 9:50, but I still don't think 25 minutes is enough time.

I agree with PP. Your FoP FP+ and Tusker ADR are too close together. You will be late to that ADR, but no way of knowing how late. Thirty minutes from tap to walking out the store is the minimum amount of time needed, in my opinion. If your experience is like PP's, you could easily be 25-30 min late and they could charge you the no-show fee.

I agree that your FoP window opening is closer to your TH ADR than is comfortable. If I were in this position, 1) I'd keep trying to move TH, but then ultimately 2) I'd personally prioritize doing FoP over making the ADR if it came down to it. I'd tap in at 9:50 for FoP, and then get to TH as soon as I could afterwards.

NO GUARANTEES, but in my experience, the ADR has been held for 15min before they "give it away" and charge you the no-show fee. That would mean the drop-dead time for TH is closer to 10:40. If I were a betting person, based on using multiple FoP FPs to date, I would think you're more likely to make that than not with an early morning FP like this. That's 50min from tapping in at FoP to the 15min post ADR. Our FPs have most often taken us under 30min. It has taken us up to 45min, though.

Here's my most recent experience from mid-August: 21 min from FP queue to finish
  • 10:15 Standby joins FP queue; diverted to interior line because “flying solo”
  • 10:19 Loaded through the doors; on my circle (8!); still posted 150min
  • 10:25 Next screen room (Dr. Ogden)
  • 10:28 Into link chair room
  • 10:36 Done ride

Agree with others that you will need at least 30 minutes for FoP from tapping in to exiting the gift shop and another 5 minutes to get to TH.
You can try moving you FoP FP, not sure you will have much luck. I would try moving your ADR at TH by 30 minutes and then everyting should work.
If you can't move anything, then it becomes a matter of priorities of FoP or TH and which one to cancel.
