LOVE the double joggers (Schwinn by InStep I beleive)-- have to have the front swivle wheel if you ask me!
In the last 4 years we have taken: the umberella verison of the schwinn jogger-- ok but not as "sturdy"-- at the time I had 1 child 2.5yrs old and 6mths -- so pretty young and light weight... it got around fine, just didn't hold up as well to the abuse of the airline, but folded down awesome, and had extending handles for us tall people pushing!... next year replaced with double jogger schwinn version (LOVEDIT) got around great... perfect for my son who was now 1.5mths old and my 3.5 yr old daughter... last year... kids now 2.5 and 4.5 years old; I had sold my jogger and puchased a beefy double "umberella style" (not cheap, but still umberella so light weight, folded down great)-- piece of crap-- didn't even make it in the airport on the way there, so we left it behind (in the car and sent back for refund) we rented a stroller there-- NEVER AGAIN... those things are horrible! No reclining seats for tired kiddo's, bulky, didn't move around as easily as the double jogger with the swivle front tire! SO this year... my dd is 5.5, son is 3.5-- I debated going without a stroller as we do not use one any longer; not even for small trips... or other trips-- however our other trips may have 1 or 2 days of "walking days" (zoo, muesum, etc) nothing like 8 days of constant walking and late evenings at the parks (my kids will sleep anywhere-- and they are perfect Disney kids, they can totally change their sleeping habits (go to bed at 11pm, still get up at 7am, and be awesome attituded kids... for vacation (at home we have a tight bedtime routine)-- and true my kids no longer nap, but my 3.5 might doze off there since he will be putting in some long days and being VERY active (wink wink) so I quickly ordered a schwinn double jogger again-- it is actually nice and sturdy enough that eventhe older kids (13,12,9, 6) can sit (not ride-- except for the 6yr) at parades etc... I love that the seat recline and that it ahs a huge canopy for the sun and rain-- I have a double stroller rain cover that I keep on it so if it rains we tuck the kiddo's into that and take off... now mind you they might not use it as much this yeare... I am expecting that especially during the day the kids will walk alot and want to... so we may park it and come back to it later in the day... it is nice with the bus transportation to have stroller as the walks to the drop off/pick up are usually pretty good walk from the gate even... and the jogger while it doesn't fold tiny, it does fold down easily for getting on and off the bus.
i can say that in the past (up until last year) we were at monorail or "boated" resorts and never had a problem getting on or off pushing it on and off-- it fit perfectly into the monorail (handicap-- or we folded if long lines) or the boat, never folded it on there!
I am sorry yours didn't do great... I do know many years (8-10yrs)ago my sister had the graco duo glide (long before joggers become popular) and I hated pushing it, it was so long! and kids one in front of the other liked to pull hair (mind you they were close in age and like 1 & 2, or 2&3 yrs old) I love the kids sitting next to each other they chat away.. etc...

11 days and "patiently" waiting -- JUST GET ME THERE ALREADY-- I can hardly wait... funny my 5 and 3yr old are handling the wait better than me!!!!
