Will my magnets for the door hold/stick if...

If we don't use magnet paper and just use sticky magnet tape here and there. I bought the matte photo paper which is printing out good but then I planned on just puttin a few magnets on it to hold it in place.

Will this work? I'd hate to do all of this and bother all the designers and then be disappointed when it all falls off the door.

On my last cruise, to save money I printed on photo paper, laminated it and just used a couple magnets to stick on the back .they held just fine, and I'm planning on doing the same for our june cruise.
