My boys like the typical kids food, and not adult food. What is the menu like at Ohana dinner? Anyone have any pics to share? I'm wondering if I should try to get into 1900 PF instead, but we did that last trip and were looking for something new to try...plus no characters at Ohana..convince me please!

I don't have pics but this is one of our fave meals. They bring out a bowl of salad, scalloped potatoes, a veggie (this varies), pineapple bread, and I don't remember what else these items they will bring out a serving large enough for your table that everyone will share from and you can always get more. then they come around w/ large skewers of meat (steak, chicken, pork, turkey, sausage, and when we were there in Feb they had tigger shrimp) and they ask you if you would like some and you basically choose what meats you will eat. My dd7 has enjoyed it everytime we have eaten there but then again she isn't a picky eater.

ETA~ the coconut race is lots of fun for the kids!

I know they have an option of Chicken Strips and fries... my youngest was 3 on the last trip and they offered him 3 or 4 "kids choices" when they saw all he was eating were the potatoes (that I believe are gone now anyway)

I thing the other 3 choices included Mac and Cheese PB&J and something else... maybe the Kona kids meal options

There is no kid menu, but if you ask your server, they will tell you what they have for the kids who are picky. Last December, for our picky eaters, the server brought out chicken fingers and mac and cheese for the kids.

Mine is not necessarily a picky eater, but he doesn't really like things with sauce on them. That being said, he loved Ohana. He loves salad, and could have eaten the entire bowl.

My girls (11 & 9) have enjoyed it for years.

My boys (4 & 1) loved it went we went a few weeks ago.

Dinner starts with a tossed salad (very good).

Next came a bowl of noodles (think Lo Mein) and sticky asian BBQ wings (my 9 year old literally had 25 wings herself).

Main courses are steak, pork, turkey and shrimp. All are very very good.

Dessert is bread pudding. None of the kids were that interested until they had some. It is one of the most delicious desserts at WDW.

They have options for kids. My kids are very picky, they had hot dogs and fries and ice cream for dessert. Our server also brought my daughter a birthday cupcake. She noticed her birthday button.

I have picky eaters and they are OLDER! When we eat there they still get the chicken fingers as main entree. They are very accomodating. :)

I was there last month both my children are picky eaters especially my 4 year old. I asked if they had a children menu and the waitress rattled off some things both my kids ordered chicken fingers and fries. My older child ordered the kids meal too but when our food came he liked it better.

My kids aren't necessarily picky but they do favor traditional American food, so I was very skeptical about eating there last year, but they totally surprised me. They both liked the salad, potatoes and chicken and steak skewers. Neither really cared for the bread pudding, but they did eat the ice cream.

Here's what my kids had at Ohana last month!
