We Will be arriving very late the night before- around 1 am and figured we hang around till it got light out and then took the mears shuttle to the dolphin. Will the mears shuttle drive my cousin and I if we are the only ones going to the WDW resort at that time?? We wanna get to the hotel check in and then go to our character breakfast at the BC. Any help is appreciated and is the ticket counter open to buy tickets for mears at that time?

MEARS won't necessarily go to the World with a near empty bus or van. They will wait until more of the early am flights get in and fill up. At 6am I'm going to bet you will be waiting a while. The taxi or towncar service will be at your disposal to leave exactly when you want. If the meal is that important, I'd do the towncar and leave MEARS for the ride back to the airport.

From what I was told, I wouldn't take Mears anywhere if time is an issue, especially being at the airport for a flight home. The CM at BWV told me it could take 3 hours to get to the airport, depending on how many people were on the bus. She took Mears from the airport to work (BWV) and it was indeed 3 hours, for a 45 minute trip.

Your flight gets in at 1:00a, you want to hang out in the airport until 6:00a and then take Mears to the Dolphin? I assume you don't want to pay for the Dolphin for your first night.

I'd get a hotel near the airport for the night, around $40 through PL. Nothing much is open in the airport after 11:00 and I'm not sure if security would allow you to nap in the airport.

I would just go ahead and have Mears take you to WDW when you arrive at the airport. If your worried about paying for the Dolphin that first night then get a room at All-Stars that first night or just hang out in the Dolphin lobby when you arrive. It will probably be much more comfortable than hanging out at the airport.

BUMPING FOR MORE EXPERT ADVICE:bounce: :Pinkbounc

You've asked the same (or similar) questions in several different threads over the last few days. ALMOST ALL OF THE ADVICE is to get a room by the airport. All the bumping in the world isn't going to change the facts.

If you check in at 1:00a Dolphin will give you a room (if available) and charge you for the night. If you don't check in you're not a hotel guest and at some point security may ask you to leave the lobby. Mears drops you off with your luggage. The bellhop asks if you're checking in. What are you going to say? No I just want to hang out in the lobby for the night? Nonguests really aren't allowed to use any hotel lobby as a place to crash. It sounds like you're hoping to nap in either the airport or Dolphin lobby. Not likely. Tubbis is open 24/7 but how much coffee can you drink. The business center is open 24/7 but I'm not sure how long you want to surf the web at almost $1/minute. The arcades are open but they'll go through your coins even faster. The facts would be different if you were going to a place like Vegas. If you're on a budget kill your character breakfast your first morning. You won't enjoy it if your up all night.

Your (real options) are to get a room by the airport, pay for the Dolphin or get a different flight. I guess you could just wander for the night. Spend an hour at Tubbis, spend an hour or so walking the boardwalk, an hour at an arcade and so on. I'd think you'd be dead by the end of the day. You're getting into Orlando at bed time. You need a place to sleep. Airport and hotel lobbys don't cut it.

Your getting in at midnight. Do you really want to have to wait until 3 or 4 the next afternoon to get a place to sleep?

I have been asking similar questions since everyone has a different response and since we are allowed to ask what we want i dont see whats the big deal. I appreciate everyones advice and will do what I want ultimately.
