Will MCO be Busy With Arrivals @ 7 am on a Typical Thurs? Dollar Counter?

The reason for this strange question is that we're arriving the night before, staying at the Hyatt and picking up a rental from Dollar at 7 am the next morning, a Thurs. I've been to MCO early for departures, but our arrivals have all been 8:30 or later and I don't know what to expect as far as crowds at the Dollar counter. I've got Dollar Express, they have all my info, but should I still get there early so I can get the car without delay? I'm determined to get to the BoardWalk, drop our bags and get to DHS for a 9am rope drop, with a Publix stop thrown in, so a delay at the Dollar counter would be a problem. Any info on this would be appreciated.

The good news is that, with Dollar Express, you won't stop at the counter at all. You'll go directly to the garage, pick a car in your reservation class, drive to the booth to (relatively quickly) go through the paperwork transaction and then drive away from the airport.

So there won't be any delay at the counter for you.

I don't believe that having Dollar Express allows you to bypass the rental counter in the terminal, but they do have a Dollar Express line, which should make checking-in a little faster.
That is what Dollar's website says anyway. It does not say you can skip the counter.

That changed earlier this year when they re-designed their garage layout at MCO. You no longer have to stop at the Dollar Express counter inside the airport. I did this for a rental in February.
