Will Magical Express take me to Disney days before my reservation?

We are flying into MCO in March for a combined trip 3 days in Tampa for my SIL's wedding and then 3 days in Disney afterwards. Renting a car at Alamo's Shades of Green location is over $150 cheaper than renting it from MCO. Can we take Magical Express to Disney property on Thursday even though our Disney reservation doesn't begin until Sunday? We'd carry our bags and then just rent the car and drive to Tampa and return on Sunday.

DME won't transport you to WDW prior to your reservation. DME doesn't service Shades of Green.

I'd keep looking, you should be able to eventually match that rate at MCO.

You can't match the rate use Priceline and see if you can win the same rate. You have to plan to pay for an additional driver.

You could pay Mears to take one person to Shades of Green (shared shuttle $22) rent the car then drive back to MCO to pickup luggage and the rest of your group. That's going to waste at least 3 hours.

Your DME reservation is tied to your resort reservation. SoG isn't part of DME, so even if you had an active resort reservation at a WDW owned resort, you wouldn't be able to get to SoG without making a transfer or two.
You can only ride the DME bus, to/from, your resort while the reservation is in effect.
