Will LTT bore a 4 year old?

I booked LTT for lunch to just rest our feet and have some quiet between rides. Is the atmosphere at all kid-friendly? Do they provide coloring or anything?
I was hoping to get the Plaza but have not had luck finding availability.
Thank you!

You can walk up to The Plaza and depending on time of day, the wait may not be long at all.

They usually have coloring and such in the waiting area. I assume they do at the tables as well (my DD is too old now). They have options for kids so I think you'll be just fine. I wouldn't say it's any different than the Plaza.

There are coloring sheets. Every Disney table service has coloring sheets (except I'd imagine Victoria and Albert's). I'm not sure what you mean by bored at a restaurant, it is an eatery at Disney so they are use to having kids around. It won't be much different then the Plaza. Neither are character dinning experiences so I'm not sure what entertainment value you were expecting out of either.

My DS #1 would've been bored to tears and had no interest in sitting at a restaurant. We did a lot of take-out and quick service when we wanted to eat out back then! Since LTT got rid of the character experience, there is nothing "fun" for kids there. I do think they provide crayons and a coloring mat, though. I highly recommend going to Columbia Harbor House and going upstairs to eat. It is usually empty and quiet in my experience. I guess folks just don't know about it. Shhhh....

Yeah I was torn between LTT and Columbia HH but I wasn't too sure about the menu options for DD. DD is pretty good in restaurants as long as there is coloring! I'll look at the CHH menu again.

What does your 4 year old do in regular restaurants?

I was wondering that too???

It's a normal sit down restaurant. I suppose if your child has only ever eaten at Chucky Cheese, then yes, they will be bored.

DS ws 4 when we ate there. He did just fine. He also ate at other 'non-entertainment' restaurants (like Le Cellier) and was happy. But he was used to eating out prior to our trip.

I guess my title to the post wasn't great. I just wanted a sense of the atmosphere. My DD loves applebees and the like, coloring and kid friendly and LTT seems a bit more adult. I am sure she will be fine.

If she is used to Applebee's, then she will be fine. Sometimes a bit of calm and downtime (or 'normal 'dining), can be a good recharge for ALL of us, regardless of age.

Yep - if she's used to restaurant settings, she should be fine. They won't do a jig for her or anything, but if she's used to being out, I'm sure it'll be a-okay. If you do get them to jig on demand or something, come back and let us know:)

It's just a typical restaurant. No characters or particularly fun decor, but yes they offer coloring/activity sheets and crayons.
