Will late DME arrival time affect hotel room readiness?

I have a reservation at ASMu starting on Thursday. Three of us are arriving very late on Thursday and planning to self-drive to the hotel. My daughter is arriving late Friday, and I set up a DME reservation for her.

Even though I only put her name on the DME reservation and said one adult, the DME paperwork has all 4 of us arriving late Friday.

Since we're arriving late, I was kind of hoping to get a text and go straight to the room, but is that less likely to happen now? Should I call the hotel to fix our arrival time? (And the paranoid part of me has to ask -- there's no chance that we'll have issues getting the room on Thursday, right?)

No, your resort reservation indicates you reserved a room for Thursday night so that is when they expect you to arrive. If you do online check-in, you can give a more precise arrival time, and that may or may not help with getting a room ready a little earlier in the day (Thursday). You daughter is welcome to take ME on Friday with no impact to your room on Thursday.

A resort reservation & DME reservation are not the same thing. You should get a room ready text much earlier in the day near check-in time (even if you're not there yet).

I did do online check-in, but it wouldn't let me set or edit the arrival time -- it just said "DME Transportation." Since we're arriving late at night, I wasn't too worried about setting an arrival time, but then I got nervous about the situation when I got the DME mail with all our names on it! So thanks again!
