We (DH, myself, DD 6 yo, DM & DSD) are driving to WDW on Oct. 23 (leaving very early AM) from south PA. Plan on stopping the first night to stay (hoping to get to Daytona maybe) then driving the rest of the way on the 24th. Hope to get to ASMu around noon or early afternoon. Do you think it would be too much to make a PS for Crystal Palace for Dinner and plan to just shop around MK a little for the evening???? Or will we be too tired and be better off just hanging out at the hotel?? We have the FTP, so we have UPH's.

TIA

Melinda

Hi!!! Here is what I think you should do:

Split up your driving more evenly. I agree to get going early. The best driving time is between 4 and 8am. You make such great time. You will be able to stop late afternoon /early eve, take a swim the hotel pool and get to bed early. Do the same the next day. Arrive at ASMu in the late afternoon. If you arrive too early, your room may not be ready. I would just unpack, rest ,eat at the food court and swim. You have to make time for things that come up unexpectedly on the road. If you plan too much you may be disappointed. Not a good way to start off a vacation.
