Will it be too late to book to wait for MVMCP dates?

We are going to be booking a 3 night trip in Dec probably at AKL. The first of those nights will be MVMCP, Second day either MGM or Epcot and third day AK.
We just need a regular Savannah view room for two adults.

Well, if it were me, I would look at the dates historically for the past couple of years and you can probably get a good idea of when the parties will be. The dates in December are a lot easier to guess than November, typically Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays, until the weekend before Christmas. If you are booking room only, you could make two reservations for different dates and then cancel one when it doesn't meet your requirements, as you can get your deposit refunded easily up until 6 days prior to check in.

I think that as long as you will be staying at the AKL you should be okay holding off until MVMCP dates are announced.
Getting a room at the WL is always tough as well as the GF and some of the Epcot resorts and I think that this is due to their decorations being so popular.
