We wont get to the parks til after 6pm. Big Thunder Mountain is closed the other days we are there so Sunday evening is our only chance :sad2: Does anyone have an idea of how busy it will be and what time the Park will close? Thanks!!

The parks have been closing at 6pm during the week around this time of year, maybe an hour later for the weekend

We go in 2.5 weeks and I am sure it says on the opening hours listing on DLRP that it shuts at 9pm on a Sunday, so I would expect it will be similar in March? Although we are going half term weekend!

We found Sunday evening very quiet in March 2009, and I think it's probably the case as long as Monday isn't a holiday in France. It seemed as though the majority of people left the park after the parade, in fact we chose to leave the park in the afternoon because it was so busy and go back in the early evening and all the crowds were going in the opposite direction :thumbsup2
I'm sure you'll get chance to ride BTM and possibly quite a few times :goodvibes

Isn't the 18th St Patricks day weekend celebration?

I thought this meant the park was open later and would be busier! X

Saturday is St. Patricks Day, so it should be very busy but I'm hoping Sunday stays open late and is quieter! 9pm would be great.

it should be open until 9pm at least on the Sunday of St Patricks Day weekend. We were there last year at that time, to be honest I didn't find it got very quiet in the park on either day, Saturday or Sunday, until after 8pm (BTM still had 60-minute lines after 8pm on both evenings, as we had fastpass we'd got earlier for BTM on both nights and so could see the regular line queues as we approached the ride).

We were in Fantasyland and Frontierland from around 7pm through to 8.30pm on the Sunday, there were lines for just about everything that was open I'm afraid, until well after 7.30pm in both lands. The weather was very mild on the Sunday, maybe that made a difference?

I do think that weekend will be busy. we'll be there also. Trying to plan weekend to avoid queues. As BTM is a no no for us, we won't have any problems.
