Will I regret this park division?

We are staying at the Poly in Sept/Oct and will have 8 days to plan, not including travel days. It will be me, DH, DD15, DD's friend also 15, DS9 and DS18months. I know the teenage girls will go off on their own some, but I want a good division of parks.

One of the regrets I see on these boards is that folks spent too much time at one park and not enough at another. What do you think about this division? I'm thinking I will want more evening time at Epcot for Food & Wine festival, but am a little worried about DS9 and DS18months being bored. All thoughts are appreciated!!!

MK: 1 morning, 1 evening for Spectro & Wishes and 1 evening MNSSHP
Epcot: 1 morning, 2 evenings (Food & Wine festival)
MGM: 1 morning, 1 evening for Fantasmic
AK: 2 mornings
Cirque: 1 evening for DTD and La Nouba
HoopDeeDoo: 1 evening
Spirit of Aloha: 1 evening
Resort: 2 mornings to sleep in and have a sit down breakfast
Floater: 1 morning to choose either Epcot or MK (next to last day)

I think your division is really good. We love each park equally for all different reasons. MGM is great for autographs, so dont underestimate that park for your little one :sunny:

We did the split thing and I didn't like it. DH was fine with (he doesn't pack or unpack).

So, we don't split. It's just the right thing to do, for us.

While you're in EPCOT for F&W hunt out the kid cot stations. Last year was the first time we did that with Mikayla and she loved it! They have a mask on a stick that they color at each station and they get a plastic "charm" that hangs from the mask and a stamp on the stick (looks like a mardi gras mask).
She loved looking for all the stations and by doing this, we found all kinds of great characters just hanging around! Jasmine, alladin, bell, beast, sleeping beauty, dopy...it was really fun. DH and I plan to "drink around the world" this time around, ok ok..he is since I get tipsy quick, and the kids kinda need supervision... :rotfl:

what does park splitting AKA HOPPING have to do with unpacking? :confused3

I think they thought I was talking about resort splitting.

Anyway, thanks so much for the advice about the Kidcot stations. Do you think DS9 is not too old for that?

i dont think that he is too old. they also have a "passport" you can buy i think and the 9 year old can get that. the cm fom that country will tell him things about the country. It really is informative and fun. Your DS9 can help the little one out! There are different "charms" to choose from. We also were on the hunt for the different PRESSED PENNY stations in the different countries. That got my DD into the stores for a little bit while i shopped! :teeth:
