Will I regret it if we don't see Wishes?

I've been to WDW twice now and have yet to see ANY of the fireworks as I'm too darn tired by the end of the day! I'm usually fast asleep by 9 pm!! :rotfl2:

go early - leave when the parks get too crowded - go back to your resort swim and most important take a nap - so you have the energy to go until closing....

I suggest making reservations at California Grill for your first night. Make them for around 8:00 pm. They will let you know when the fireworks will begin and there is a huge viewing paltform right off the restaurant. They pipe the music in and everyone watches. It is very romantic. That is how we viewed Wishes on our last trip and it was fabulous. Be sure to check the schedule first. Wishes didn't run every night of our last trip.

This sounds like such a good idea! The only thing is though, since it's 2 TS credits, I would have to pay OOP for one of our other planned meals. Which one do you think would be the best/cheapest to pay OOP for if we go the Calfornia Grill route?:

LeCellier
Teppanyaki Dining Room
Liberty Tree Tavern
Mama Melrose's Fantasmic Package
Boma

personally, Wishes and SpectroMagic make the vacation for me. i couldnt go to WDW and not see them. i could live without seeing the jammin jungle parade and the starts and motor cars parade, AND even the MK daily parade, but NOT Wishes and SpectoMagic - they r a must :) lol

I would say LeCellier - because you select what you eat - but here are all the menus - so you can decide.

you realize that Boma is at AKL not AK - you would need to catch a bus at either theme parks, or DD to get back and forth to this one - unless you have a car.

There is no way that I would go to WDW and not see Wishes. That would definitely be a big mistake. Have fun!

Wishes, especially Hallowishes, is a do not miss for DH and I.
I would personally pay OOP for any buffet you are doing and go with CG for dinner.
