Will I need to take bug spray in late April?

I've read some posts that mention bugs. Will I need to take bug spray for late April? We'll be at the Poly for a week and then Clearwater Beach for a week. Thank you!

I work at Disney (Epcot) every month of the year and haven't yet had to use any bug spray there.

You can always bring some with you just in case.

Have a wonderful vacation.

I got something neat at Target -- it was either Cutters or Deep Woods Off bug repellent wipes -- I think there were 10 in a box individually wrapped. That way you don't have to take a spray bottle w/ you & risk it leaking....throw a couple packs in your fanny pack -- just in case!! They were in the camping section.

I don't know about April, but last May (I posted about it) we were eaten alive. We went to the flower show and spent a lot of time sitting watching the bands, and our legs were a mess. We rode the buses just once, and waiting for them at POR, again we got all bit up. I will always bring it. These bug bites were the itchiest I have had had.Took months for the bumps to go all away.

I buy the SSS towelettes from Avon. The smell isnt so offensive to me. And the towelettes are small individually packed. I can use them on my kids too. I took the spray ONCE and it leaked out. Thank goodness I had enclosed in a plastic Ziploc bag or I would have been really upset.

Just an alternative.
