We will be going to Universal January 20 and 21 (Sunday and Monday) and wonder if we should spend the $25.99 per person for the Express Pass.

I know i can just wait and see how the lines are but I am a compulsive planner and really would like to get an idea of what to expect.

I don't know if my 65 yr. old mom is going to want to wait in line for 45 minutes to ride Shrek.

Thanks so much!!!

I would say yes due to schools being out that it should be very busy. :thumbsup2

I would totally recommend purchasing an Express pass for the MLK day. You're most likely going to need it.

Do you need to purchase an Express Pass each day or does the $25.99 cover your entire ticket (we will have a 7 day pass)

The EP's are only good per day per ticket...so you would have to buy one each day for each person.

Depending on when you're going, you may not need them. Just wait and see how the lines are.

Thanks for the info. We are planning to be @ US/IOA Fri 1/11 to Sun 1/13.
I believe it is also the weekend of the Disney Marathon.

Anybody have an guesses on how busy it will be?

The park is open regular hours that weekend so I would guess the crowds will be fairly light. I doubt you would need the EP's that weekend.
