I have been on a scooter for years at Disneyland but I am now also on oxygen. I like to walk onto some rides but will have oxygen even if I don’t have my scooter. Do I need to get a DAS because of the oxygen?

You don’t need to have DAS to bring your oxygen with you.
But, do think about how carrying the oxygen with you or using it in line might impact your ability to wait in the regular lines. If it doesn’t, you may not need DAS.
If you are not sure, you can try waiting in a line or 2 and see if you have any issues; if you do, you can go to Guest Relations and tell them what issues you had so you csn request DAS.

I was just at WDW last week with my sister and she uses a portable oxygen concentrator and scooter. She has the DAS for non-oxygen related issues, but we did regular lines once or twice when wait times were low. We did limit our time at the parks to 4-5 hours at a time for battery life before heading back to the resort for a break. Our original plan was to head back late afternoon each day, but we never made it due to rains.

I agree with Sue that you might want to try a few attractions to see how things go. I think if my sister did not have other needs that make the DAS necessary, she probably would have been good without the DAS.

On our last trip to Disney World, DH met a lady that just got there that was on Oxygen, I think she was using a concetrator (not sure what the right term is, sorry). Based on what he said, I don't know if you will need a DAS or not, but something she was having issue with was getting the battery to last all day. She said there was a larger unit with a bigger battery, but she would have to rent an ECV to be able to carry it.

Since you say you will have a scooter, I figured I would mention it so you can make sure you have what you need to last all day of applicable.
