I just got an email that our flight landing is pushed back to 3:45 we are staying at the Poly and have a 5:30 dinner reservation at Narcoossee. Will we make this reservation if we take the magical express? TYIA

No Highly unlikely
Average time for DME is 90 minutes from arriving at the gate not landing. That could take 10 - 15 minutes of taxing at MCO.
Magical Express will only take you to your reserved resort.
Narcoossee's is a walk across the GF grounds.
I don't think there is any way to make that and if you don't you will be charged the $10/person no show fee

I will go with, no way. You might make it to Poly by 5:30 pm, but not Narcoosee's. If you take a private car, you might make it to Poly by 4:45/5:00 pm (if there is no traffic), but even then, getting to Narcoosee's would be an absolute rush. I would either push the reservation later or, better yet (if your flight is delayed), change it to another day.

I think it is highly unlikely. That is a really tight time frame and knowing Orlando there could be traffic. Do you really want to be stressed when you first arrive? I would move to another day.

I keep checking the reservations but everything is booked :(. Plus we will have 2 little ones in tow with us. Even if we took a private company transport probably still won't make it in time?

If you took a cab/Uber you could probably make it straight to Narcoossees but: 1) The plane could be late and 2) It can take 20-30 minutes to get your bags and 3)What are you going to do with your bags while you eat?

One of the transportation experts here will know--Is it possible for ME to collect the bags and deliver them to the resort while the humans make other transportation arrangements?

Call the airline! When there is a solid change that they make they can change it at no extra cost. Do a little research on what other flights work for you and call.

There's a whole sticky thread about it in the transportation forum. Anything could happen, but the basic answer is that any tagged bag gets picked up behind the scenes and starts its journey to wdw regardless of what the humans are doing. Doesn't help with carryons though.

It was push back 20 minutes we were supposed to land at 3:25 even if I booked through expedia

Citricos has a 6:05 reservation available has anyone been there? I kind of hand my heart set on Narcoossee's

I believe it's not likely and totally stressful

They won't do anything about a change of less than 1 hour scheduled arrival.

I never make an ADR for less than 4-5 hours after scheduled arrival. Travel day is full of uncontrollable delays.

I don't think even your original plan was that doable without a lot of stress. How far out is your trip? It is entirely possible that something will pop up at Narcoossee's later in the evening if you just keep checking.
16 days away first trip for myself and our twins August Birthdays. This was my choice for a bday dinner.

Happy Birthday little twins!!!! If it were me I would book something else that is more reasonable for that night, and keep checking for Narcoossee's to open up. I would also look to see if there is something later in the trip available for Narcoossee's and just push the bday dinner back a bit, I am not someone who is too focused on celebrating on a specific day so if you want Narcoossee's see if you can fit it another night, you guys may be really exhausted that night after traveling anyway so a different night may even work out better. Good luck and no matter what happens you are still celebrating in WDW and will have a great time!!!

Likely will not make it. You hopefully land by 3:45, disembark the plane and maybe get to the ME by 4:00-4:15, then wait for the bus and then a 35-45 minute bus ride has you arriving around 5:00.Cutting it WAY too close. Dining reservations on your arrival day are always risky. you never know if you might encounter flight delays or cancellations or even if you are driving hitting accidents or construction. On my recent trip i had a reservation scheduled my flight landed at 9am and i had reservations for dinner, but with the advise of some on this board i opted to cancel because i didn't want to get the fee for not making it.

I don't think calling gets you any better results than online, but it can't hurt to call the dining reservation number.

Of look into changing to an earlier flight -- no sure where you are coming from.

This July we flew from the west coast. We were supposed to land at 3:15. It was the day a suspicious vehicle was parked at MCO. Our flight took off two hours late, once the vehicle had been cleared. After we finally made it across the country there was "weather" in Orlando and we had to circle for over 30 minutes before we could land.

Fortunately, our dinner plans for that evening were to eat inside Animal Kingdom at Flame Tree BBQ.

If it were me I would plan an alternative qs meal or dine in room. Once you land, check the Dis App for a possible day of reservation for later that night, as well as having a reservation later in the week that you could cancel if you were successful in scoring one upon landing.

I have to agree I wouldn't chance it and to be honest, there is no way I would book a signature meal on a travel day with 2 little ones!! It's tiring for them to travel, and they will likely be a little cranky and a 2-2.5 hour meal is probably not the best plan.
