HI

I am arriving in MCO at 4:10 on Nov 3 (Friday) and was thinking about making ADR for HDDR for the 7 (or 7:30 can't remember the start time) show. Has anyone ever done this successfully? Right now I have an ADR for the 5th at HDDR, but would love to start off our first night with the dinner show.

Am I crazy? :confused3

thanks for your advice. Pamela

With no delays you have a good chance of making it but it's always risky trying to do it on the evening you arrive. If you are running late you can take a cab to FW to speed things up. How are you getting to your resort and where are you staying?

Don't forget that if you are delayed or miss it for any reason, you will still be charged for the show. We were scheduled to do the show on our arrival day and I changed it because I didn't want to have to worry about it. The HDDR is also one of the hardest things to get to at Disney World!

We will be taking the Magic Express from the airport. We are staying at the Poly. At least from there we could take the boat. I am trying to get Saturday night instead, so I don't have to worry about not making it due to traffic, flight delays etc.

thanks for responding. I am definately not going to do my arrival night. No need to start off a vacation with stress!!!!! :goodvibes

I think you will be cutting it really close. We are doing HDDR on our arrival day at 5 pm but our plane lands at 10:15am. ME can take about an hour and then you have to take a bus to MK and a boat to FW. If you take a cab to FW, it goes to the other side of the campground and you have to take a bus to get to Pioneer Hall.
