Will I have to take off my crocs for rides?

I have done some searches and couldn't find a clear answer. I will be wearing my cayman crocs (I probably wear them tighter then most people do) to the park and wanted to know if I will have to take them off to ride Dueling Dragons(Dragon Challenge by the time we go). And if I have to take them off do I sit on them, or hold them in hand?

I went on DD with my flip flops on and they didn't fall off or even feel that they would (this was because I genuinely forgot to take them off. Was going to sit on them!)
But I think you should be okay with crocs as long as they're secure.

We always take ours off when we go on Dueling Dragons. We simply put them on our wrists and wear them there throughout the ride.

I wear sneakers so it's no problem...DW wears sandles and always takes them off for DD and holds them.:)

Thank you so much for the replies. I was hoping to not have to take them off but I guess I'd rather take them off then lose a shoe. Although with Harry Potter probably opening shortly before we go there I don't know how many times I will get to ride that week.

Jumping in alittle late, but DW wears crocs. She takes them off on the Hulk and DD and sits on them just in case.

Also, it's generally a good idea to remove loose shoes if you're riding Doctor Doom's Fearfall. As soon as you sit in the restraint and lower your harness, just remove/kick off your shoes and you'll be fine. They'll stay on the concrete floor while you get shot 150ft in the air.

They usually tell you to remove loose footwear and either sit on them or leave them at the side on DD

The past few times I was there, they did not let you place your shoes to the side. You had to hold them/sit on them.

If they feel loose like they might fall off, take them off and hold them just incase.

That's correct. You're not allowed to kick them aside. You MUST take your shoes with you. I remember once, years ago when I worked at Dragons a girl tossed her shoes aside, and I picked them up and handed them to her, telling her she has to hold them. The train leaves, she tosses them on the platform again. I stop the train, walk up, hand her the shoes, and tell her AGAIN she needs to keep them. The train moves again, this time it's outside the station, and she tosses them on the grass. Since that's in the ride track, we're not allowed to go out there until the end of the night, so she came back, wondering if she could get her shoes back, and we told her no, so she left barefoot. Idiot.

To the person who takes off their shoes on Hulk...why? It has a floor.

Wow what a brat :rotfl: bet it wasn't nice walking round IOA the rest of the day without shoes!

Those are the type of people who screw up the trains by not letting them leave the station at the same time. This causes a non-dueling ride that's not very much fun.
