Will I have time to make my 6:30 ressie help

I have a 5pm ressie at 1900 park fare. We will be at MK that day. I also booked the AAA storytime for 6:30. I just booked the storytime yesterday and I didn't realize I already had a ressie so close to my storybook time.

My question is how long should I expect to be at park fare? will I have time to get back to MK for the storytime?

I suspect I won't. My only other options is the previous Monday but I'll be at disney studios (MGM) that day so I don't know if its a good idea to leave that park and head over to MK and then head back again. I do have the hopper option but I have two kids 6 & 4 and my senior mom with me.

Should I just cancel the story time or try and make it? What would you do?
As you can see I'm very torn.

a 5pm at 1900 PF and storybook time at 6:30 probably is not feasable. You would have to be seated at exactly 5pm which usually does not happen at 1900 PF and then rush and get to MK via monorail

You would cut it very close if you made it at all

I would say it's going to be very close, you could possibly show up for your dinner early and see if they could seat you. If they are able to do that, then you may make your 6:30.

I honestly don't think it is doable. Even if you show up early for your ADR most TS's won't even put you on 'the' list until your ADR time just in case someone with an earlier ADR time person shows up before your ADR time. Did that make sense?!?!?

And leaving 1.5 hrs. to get seated, get your food, and get to MK (with two young ones and a sr.) is not allowing for any time for the normal problems that always seem to pop up (i.e. kids need an emergency potty break, bus problems, slow TS service, etc.).

I personally wouldn't even try it because I think it would take from the 1900 PF dining experience, I'd feel too rushed and would always be checking my watch.

I'm not a AAA member ...yet....but what is the storytime that you booked??

I would personally change my ressies to 4:30 (if available). In addition, I have showed up at 1900 Park Fare early numerous times and was almost always seated within a few minutes. So even if you don't get the 4:30 show up then and you will be seated before 5:00.

I would try to change my ressies. Anything can happen. When we were at MK the monorail broke down and we had ressies at Chef Mickey's and they called for us and told them we were going to be late.

I wouldn't think the storytime would be special enough to rush through the (from what I understand) incredible fun of 1900 Park Fare...

I don't think this is doable. As other posters have said, even if you could make it back to the Storytime (not just back to MK, but to the Storytime location in the park) you would be rushing.
To me, it is not worth rushing through a nice meal like that.
I would try to change the Storytime ressie. If that is possible, and you have your heart set on it, I would cancel my dinner ADR and just eat CS that night. But I would not try to do both.

I think I'm going to try and get a 4:30 ressie. This late in the game I doubt that will be possible but its worth a shot.

I've heard the AAA storytime is good but know I don't know. I haven't told my kids just in case we can't make it.

to be honest I don't know exactly the details it came with my package. What I do know its a special story time with characters ( I think and I don't know who) that only people that book though AAA/CAA can attend. It sounds like fun, its a ticket event and they only allow in so many people. I've heard its not to be missed and since its free I was really hoping we could go. Now I'm not sure.

It only runs 3 nights a week so that's my problem.
