Will I have any luck at 7 months?

This November we are taking 15 people to WDW for Thanksgiving. We are currently staying in 2 2-bedrooms and a studio at SSR. I would like to switch to either a GV and a 1-bedroom at OKW or 2 2-bedroom and a studio at BWV at the 7 month window. Do you think I will have any luck? I would like to get people to start thinking about dining reservations and would like to give them some idea about where we are going to be staying. I am very anxious about this trip and want to make sure everyone has a good time...

We had 15 people at WDW over Thanksgiving in 2005 . Loved it! Maybe we will see you this year, ha ha.

I don't know how availability is at those resorts during the holidays. We book at 11 months out and then watch the time fly by. Good luck, and in any case, you will have SSR!

One villa would be a success at either of those resorts at 7 months. But three? I don't think it is going to happen. Let them enjoy your home resort.

I would stay put for Thanksgiving and enjoy everything about SSR!

The problem you'll run into is that you need to have availability for all the units you want which I think will be more difficult at BWV than OKW. You may get OKW but I would agree with a pp and just stay put if you want to be able to give people info now. If they will have cars then there really isn't a problem making dining reservations. We have a GV at OKW for end of Feb. and I got it 3 months out, so you never know. If you really want one, which would be nice for the space for your group, then give it a try. What about a GV in SSR?
