Hi,

I understand that me, my dh and our 6 year old will have key card with our names on them.

My 2 year old wants everything that his big brother has...and after thinking about it, a key card with his name on it would be nice to put in his scrapbook.

Will they give me a key card for him if I ask? Has anyone ever done this? Do I just ask the CM at the resort desk. Thanks!! :flower:

We stayed at the Contemporary in March with our 2 year old. He didn't get a key, but I think they asked if I wanted one when we checked in.

I am sure they would - it just wouldn't be activated. Disney won't turn away a sad 2yr old boy :flower:

Typically they just give keys out to anyone who would require a park ticket. Since 2 YO's still get in the park free, they won't automatically give him a room card key. However, with as many keys as they go through on a daily basis, I can't imagine they would turn you down if you asked for one with his name on it. You could ask them not to encode any privileges on the magnetic strip, but to just print up a key with his name on it for keepsake purposes.

I know they will give you blank ones, or at least that they gave them to me, not sure if they will put his name on it. Last year they gave us two blanks so my kids could carry one just like big brother. They were pleased as pie and I didn't have to worry about lost keys! They gave me another one when I checked out for my scrapbook because I wanted one without stuff printed over Tink :)
