Okay - just got off the phone with SW and changed our flights again....

Now we're scheduled to leave here on April 26th and return home on May 5th.. NOT my ideal choice of times, but it was the only flights we could get - nothing available in late March or earlier in April..

Someone PLEASE tell me it's not a horrible time of year to go..

What will the weather be like?

Will there be huge crowds?

When do "grad" nights start - and what are they?

Is it going to rain every day?

------------------

Sorry to keep bugging you all, but I'm really, really, really ready to tear my hair out over this trip.. And to think - it all started because I wanted to take my DD and my granddaughter to the MVMCP... Ummmmmmm...guess they won't be holding that in April/May - huh?

OK never having been in this time frame==The weather will be warm, you can plan on water parks or Kali rapids and not worry. The movie at FW should be perfect.

I hope it all works out.

SWA is one of my favorites. They're the ones who made it possible to take my birthday trip, when Don and I took a bounce.

I travelled at that time this past April/May and it was awful for love bugs. The insects weren't so bad in the parks, mostly at the resort. I also found it really crowded at MK in May more so than in the summer. I guess it was primarily because there were few days with fireworks and on any of those days the parks would be swamped with people.
Forgot to add there wasn't much rain, but it was REALLY hot.

We've gone the first or second week of May the past 4 years. It is warm, low 90's but little rain. The Flower & Garden Festival is in full swing. Crowds are low to moderate. We noticed the love bugs but didn't think they were a big deal. Grad Nights are private parties at MK for graduating seniors, they are held on Fri & Sat nights so the park closes around 7:00. They usually stay open late a night during the week instead (it will be crowded that day but not other weekdays). We think it's a great time to go! Have reservations for May 2 to 7 next year.

We were there April 29-May 5th this past year. It was a really nice time to go. The crowds seemed "moderate", but wait time was no longer than 20 minutes for things like SM and BTMR. It was warm, but not stiffling. I would pick that time to go again if I had that opportunity. I thought it was wonderful--but then again, I was at Disney!!:teeth:

Don't worry this is a great time of year to go, the crowds were moderate (since most schools are still in session), good weather not too hot or cold (mornings at the Water Parks are great), Epcot's International Flower and Garden Festival is really beautiful (it is amazing that the landscaping at WDW can be even better) and with less crowds you can cover more ground day each day (we only used Fast Pass a couple of times, PI and DTD were also less crowded), change PS easily (we were able to walk into many dining spots). We enjoyed it so much my DH wants to make a return trip during this same time in 2005 for Epcot's Anniversary.

We always go that time of year. This year April 23-May1. We love it. Very little rain, never had a bug problem, low crowds, and very warm weather. Don't stress you will have a great time.
