I am going to see fantasmic at 6:30pm. I have a garden grill adr for 8:10pm. I saw that fantasmic was 25 minutes long. Do you think that gives me enough time? Is fantasmic usually on time? I think the quickest way to get there would be take a boat is that right?

I would think that because of the location of Garden Grill (in Future World toward the front of Epcot) that it would be faster to take the bus from DHS to Epcot's front gate, rather than the boat to World Showcase. If you enter through the International Gateway you have to walk pretty much through the entire park.

The show will by 7pm, but it will take some time to exit the theater and make your way to whichever transportation you choose. There will be thousands of other people trying to get out, and you will have plenty of company waiting for the bus/ boat, so you may not get on the first one.

Still, I think you've got a pretty good shot.

My family is in the same boat. We have planned to see Fantasmic! at 6:30 and have dinner ressies at Ohana at 8:15. A bigger issue for us is that we plan on doing this Thanksgiving night, so I have a feeling everyone else in the World will be trying to see Fantasmic! this night as well. Good luck! I think your commute and the ability to take the boat will work out in your favor!

I'll bet walking would be faster than anything. Those boats are so small it is unlikely you'll even be able to get on the first one or two depending on how many people are streaming out. There is path that runs alongside the waterway though. You could walk it in 15 minutes or so.

You should be able to make it, but that could be cutting it close. I bet the previous poster is right and walking would be your best bet!

It's a 10-15 minute walk to Boardwalk from Studios. I'd add another 10 or so to get to Epcot. Then another 10-15 to walk through Epcot to the Land pavilion. The faster you walk, the sooner you'll make it. It's a lot of walking, too, considering that you also have to walk through Epcot.

The boat from DHS to Epcot takes about 30 minutes, then you still have to walk from the International Gateway to the Land. This doesn't include time spent at DHS waiting for the boat, if you have any.

The bus ride from DHS to Epcot itself would take about 10-15 minutes, then another 10 or so to walk from the bus stop, enter the park from the front gate and walk to the Land. The wild card here is waiting time. If you just miss a bus, it could take some time for another to arrive.
