Just put an offer on a dvc at SSR. I believe it said closing would be done around 3/6 (if it passes ROFR). We are planning on going mid Nov. Will I be able to get a dvc anywhere at that point? I know I'll have already missed my 11 month mark and depending on how quickly I get my member number I may or may not hit the exact 7 month mark. I need a 2 bedroom lock off. I'd even take a 1 bedroom and studio if that weren't available even though it's more points.

I just closed December 8 and scored a studio for the first week of February at SSR. As long as your options are open, I don't foresee a big issue.

You will not have a problem with SSR. If your dates are past the end of Food & Wine, you may even get elsewhere at 7 months.

Yes I believe they are after F&W. I'm not picky, I'll any 2 bedroom for my first dvc stay :)

If you actually close by March 6, you will likely be able to make a reservation beginning by end of March which puts you more than 7 months out. Your home resort, SSR will definitely be open. Moreover if you are looking at mid-November, meaning time after Nov 11 and before Nov 21, and Disney does not do something like extend Food & Wine a week beyond when it would usually end, and you are able to book exactly 7 months out in April, you will likely find studios, 1BRs, and 2BRs open at the following other WDW resorts: AKV savanna and standard view, OKW other than Hospitality House location, VWL, BWV pool/garden view, BLT lake view, and possibly BCV. Also dedicated 2BRs and possibly 1BRs will be open at VGF. That period in Nov, after Food & Wine and Veterans Day and before the Sat just before Thanksgiving week is one of the few more moderate DVC demand times during the otherwise high demand, last quarter of the year.

The week of Nov 15 should have alot of options open to you. Especially, if you book right at the 7 month window.

Great, we are arriving on Nov 11 so fingers crossed Disney passes ROFR!
