Just planning a last minute trip for Dec 9-13. Will I be able to get anything? We have the DDP and I just tried for several locations and every thing was booked. Any ideas on some that are not as hard to get. It will be 3 adults- but we are all pretty picky eaters! We liked CM,CRT, LTT, Tony's, and 50's didn't care for San Angel Inn or Marrakesh. Thanks

Who knows, really. You might catch a cancellation if nothing else.

Try making a list of restaurants by day and priority and start at the top with the CM. Hopefully you'll get a great CM who is happy to help you find a spot each day.

Places you might want to try:
Garden Grill
Rose and Crown
Chefs de France
Raglan Road
Tonys
LTT
Kona
Concourse
GF Cafe
any of the restaurants at moderate hotels

Keep calling, you are sure to get something. Talk to the cast member on the phone and have them look for any openings. Be sure to keep an open mind. Also try for late lunches. I would try Cape May Cafe at the Beach Club and
Olivia's Cafe at Old Key West. Good Luck

I have had all of our ADR's made since the 180 day mark but they were made through a travel agent. We had some MAJOR problems with this agent and decided to cancel our package with her and book again directly through disney. She actually threatened to cancel all of our ADR's since we canceled the package that we had booked through her. So, i called disney dining and asked if there was something i could do. Luckily i got an amazing CM and what they did was go through and rebook ALL of our ADR's (some had to be moved 5-30 minutes) and then the CM canceled the one's our TA had made. That way if the TA tried to be vengeful, she wouldn't succeed. We will be there the first of January which is near your dates. So if i was able to get every one of mine re-booked with no problem, I would give it a shot!!! Good luck!!

I would second trying Olivia's at Old Key West and also Turf Club at SSR. We tried these for the first time recently and had really good meals. They are usually not as booked up as some of the more well known restaurants.

Try late lunches if nothing else. Also, try Yacht Club Galley and the Grand Floridian Cafe. Not in parks but their menus are varied enough.

:thumbsup2 We're going to be there the 12th-20th:goodvibes ...and we ran into some issues with our ADR's as well. But mainly we stuck to late lunches and even later dinners...(which is fine for us!). Most days we're having lunch @ around 2-3p or so...and dinner @ 9 or so. It seemed to work out the best for us - and don't be afraid of going at an "off" time like 3:20p or 2:50pm - at least then you'll have a ressie!:woohoo:

Hope all works out well for you!!

You'll have to take spots at some of the less-popular restaurants and/or unpopular times. Look for very early or very late lunch seatings, or very late dinners (after 8 PM).

You'll probably have better luck with these restaurants, which aren't quite as popular as the biggies but still serve decent food:

Garden Grill (Usually not too difficult to get an ADR, but walk-up service is difficult because it's close to Soarin')
Nine Dragons (Hit and miss... some menu items are good, others so/so.)
Kona Cafe (getting more popular lately, but since it's not in a park, you can still sometimes still get ressies)
Tusker House (It's a buffet now that it's been renovated, and not everybody is aware that you can make ADRs there yet.)
Boma (Very popular, but for some reason ADRs after 8 PM are usually still available)
Tutto Italia (You're on the dining plan, so the incredibly high prices don't matter. You could try for an unpopular time, though I suspect this is getting harder to book.)

Good luck...
David
