I'm planning on a Yak & Yeti dinner right about park closing time in September. I'm not sure how late the park has bus service though. Will we need to plan on taking a cab back to AKL?

I know the rule used be an hour after park closing, but they will probably run long enough for dinner reservations to get a bus back, so you should be fine.

I was thinking the same thing, but after talking to a friend that works at the Poly, she said that they typically do a 1 hour - 1.5 service after. She also mentioned that during peak season they will run them more often because of Rainforest Cafe.

I know at TL the buses run until the Park is clear and we have run the fence to block off all the turnstiles.

I've had dinner at Rainforest Cafe at park closing. As we came out of the restaurant there was a CM right outside asking which resort we were going to, if we had our own car or did we need a bus, and then he directed us to a certain bus stop. At the bus stop there was another CM that again asked which resort we needed to go to. We got to talking to him and he said Disney would never leave their guests stranded and that buses would run as long as they had someone in the restaurants, no matter what time the parks closed. That bus took us back to our resort but made alot of stops along the way at other resorts.

You will be fine Housemouse. Disney always takes care of its guests, and "1 hour after park closes" has always been the bare minimum. As long as there are people there, the buses will be active and a cast member will be there to guide people.
