will I be able to book anything?

So We just sent our closing docs today yay! But we are planning on going the last weekend in may or first weekend in june from thur-mon. What are my chances of getting a studio anywhere? I am ok with staying anywhere but would prefer a resort other than OKW. Am I going to be out of luck? I was kinda hoping with the poly just opening maybe just maybe I could book there? Am I crazy to even think that could happen? I'm guessing (hoping maybe?) that we will have our account activated by the end of the month, is that even possible?

With 2 weekends for options I feel pretty certain you'll get something - and a good chance that it will be Poly.

The last weekend in May is Memorial Day weekend so I would guess you would have more trouble with that but we got some days in late May at SSR a couple of years ago 2-3 days out when we had to have work done on the house with us out of it. I would guess SSR will be available if nothing else.

Oh I didnt mean the last full weekend in may i meant the last weekend that starts in may so may 28-june1st. i knew Memorial would be jammed packed so we will skip that weekend !

SSR is fine with us ! Since its close to DTD I'll be happy with that!

Looking at the resort availability tool right now the only resort with full availability in a studio every night from 5/29 - 6/1 is SSR. The Poly may be an option later when it opens for booking...

Waiting for disney to get us in the system-we bought a resale contract that has points expiring 3/31 and are hoping for last minute cancellations the first week in March-had already planned to go for a few days then and booked a room only reservation. Hoping we are in the disney system by early this week-is there currently any avail for studios anywhere first week in March??? I realize it's a long shot but hoping we get lucky

Looking at Sun. 3/1 - Sun. 3/8 as of right now there is no availability for studios at BWV, VWL or BLT. OKW has 1 night, VGF has 2 n (not consecutive) and BCV has 1 night. SSR is your best bet - they have Sun. 3/1 - Fri. 3/6 open (but the 7th & 8th weekend nights are gone). AKV Kidani has Sun 3/1 - Wed. 3/16 in a std. view. Kidani SV is scattered and Jambo (all views) is scattered.

Awesome! Thank you for looking! Hopefully there will still be availability in a few weeks! I'm hoping either the poly will open a few other choices OR I'll be able to book a studio at the poly! Fingers crossed!!! I am just so anxious to have my points!!!!

FYI - Disney can move unbooked DVC inventory to their cash reservations 60 days before any given date. Once moved it might not move back.
