LOL, Dan! I always figure that groundhog they speak of is pertinent to Pennsylvania only, since the groundhogs around here hybernate until mid March! I doubt we have EVER had only 6 weeks of winter after February 2! I would love it if it was true! BTW, I doubt he would see his shadow here today, since we are in the middle of a snow storm.

I heard on the news yesterday that he probably will...but we all know how accurate weathermen are. ;)

Quick, somebody throw a bag over his head! ;) I don't have to worry about the groundhog at St. Louis Zoo seeing his shadow today. There's not a ray of :sunny: to be found!

HE DID see his shadow...and I'm not happy!!! I want another groundhog that doesn't see shadows!!!!

With all due respect to Punxatawney(sp?) Phil, it won't be consistently nice weather around here until early to mid May:(

Puxatawny Phil, and Staten Island Chuck BOTH saw their shadows

*sigh* 6 more weeks of winter :(

No No No, those gophers don't count, the only one that counts is (for this year anyway) the esteemed General Beauregard Lee from the great state of Georgia, who said "to heck with this, winter is over" I applaud General Lee for making the tough decision, while "Chuck" and "Phil" caved into the powerful snow-making lobby. phhttt it's all politics

Hi nativetxn, Hi Dan

haha I forgot how to spell nativetxn's name
