We are doing the volunteer for a disney day tomorrow to get the one day one park ticket. We will then be using our wdw non-expiring park hopper pass exchanged in for a park hopper DLR ticket.

We will arrive on friday feb 26 around 1pm or so and will be there in the parks friday and sat.

on which day should we use the one park ticket, and to which park, and then which day to use the park hopper pass and start in which park?

Havent been in 4 1/2 years, so lots to see at DL and CA, esp captian EO, subs, indiana jones, cartoon spin, etc.

For me, I'd use the one-park ticket on Friday, and stay in DL. You're getting there mid-day, and DCA closes sooner than DL. Also, with everything under construction, you might not need as much time in DCA, so I'd use the hopper on your full-day, Saturday, so you have the whole day to hop.

I agree with what sonnyjane said about using the park hopper on Saturday. Since you will only be at the parks for half a day on Friday, it doesn't make sense to use the park hopper then. You'll be amazed at how much you can do park hopping in the AM! Have fun! :goodvibes

I'd dedicate Friday to Disneyland. On Saturday I'd start at Disneyland since it opens earlier than DCA. Get your FPs for whatever rides you'd like such as Space Mt or Indy and maybe get a ride in such as Big Thunder. I don't know who you're traveling with so I don't know what are your ride preferences. Then around 9:30a, if DL opens at 8am, I'd head over to DCA to wait for rope drop and walk with purpose to TSMM. Then I'd do DCA and probably hop back into DL later in the evening.

Have fun!
Just remember to always have a FP in your hand!
