Will G.F./Pavilion Construction Ruin Our Wedding?

Any advise for a newbie? We are set to marry 11/30/11 at the Wedding Pavilion and will be staying at the Grand Floridian. We just found out (8/8/11)
about the construction of a building between our two main venues. No one wants to deal with us in the wedding department. Our wedding consultant said she just found out last week about it. Were not getting any answers and are being ignored. We live in CA and our whole dream wedding/ family vacation/ honeymoon is in jeopardy. Who knows how bad it is and what it could look/ sound like by the end of November?
