Will Flip Flops be sufficient?

I purchased a pair of these for myself and my daughter. We wore them on our last Vegas vacation and loved them. We look forward to wearing them in May. They are a open toe sandal with lots of arch support and adjustable straps. They are also good for keeping your foot dry after riding water rides. Check them out.

Well, you might get a spot on www.badshoe.com I wouldn't. Disney is a lot of concerete and walking. If they aren't study they could just come apart on you!
I had to laugh :rotfl: . I can understand wearing sport sandals and even flip flops but high heels??? Heels and pointed toe shoes were created for torture. Its like fitting a round peg in a square toe! and those poor children . . . what were their parents thinking . . not too much!

The picture of the backless top was priceless - do people have no sense? This a family park not a nightclub!

Most of the shoes I own for work are the high heel pointed type. And I love them. They are so comfortable. remember this your toe does not go into the pointed part.

Now for Disney I will be wearing the most comfortable-arch supports I have but none of my pointed toes.

I was talking about walking Disney.

I have to agree the newer pointed toe shoes are made differnt than the older ones (you almost had to bind your toes) but with 9+ size feet they make me fell like I am wearing the court jester's shoes :)

I recommend sandals like Teva's or straprunners or something with straps. Not too cute, but it seems that knowing you have them strapped to your feet allows your feet to relax. I walked around Cedar point in the rain in flip flops(they were the only shoes I brought on that trip) and although I sufficed it was uncomfortable to hold them on and not slip at the same time! Just a thought. Oh yeah, and for any dangling feet rides...you won't have to worry about them coming off. But, whatever you are most comfortable in.

Teva actually makes a cute flip flop. DD has a pair and loves to wear them to WDW. Of course, she's 13 and can wear any kind of shoe without problems lol
