With the first Sunday of August looming, does anyone think (or perhaps know a rumor? ;)) as to weather:

  • Disneyland will increase ticket prices August 1st (or some other date in the near future)?
  • Disneyland's "5-Day Park Hopper® Bonus Ticket for the Price of 3 Days" promotion might get extended again so the tickets can be first used into October?

I see a fair amount internet of speculation about WDW probably increasing prices, but very little about Disneyland!

To be fair, this is partly self serving; I'm going to arrive Oct. 16th and am trying to decide when to buy 5 day tickets for DW & myself!

:teacher:Last year all Disneyland tickets and passes went up the first weekend of August just like WDW. My guess is to expect Disneyland to go up along with WDW this year.

I agree with PP the prices always go up so I don't why they wouldn't now.

As far as the 5 for 3. I'm not to sure it would be extended. Sounds like DCA has had good traffic this summer and in a few weeks the AP's will be flooding in. They may want to get some work done and actually want the crowds to ease back in DCA.

Thanks & that is what I was pretty much expecting to hear. I think I'm going to error on the side of caution and buy the $209 5 day bonus tix them w/ eTicket option tonight or tomorrow. :thumbsup2

Those tickets are no open ended as to when you can use them. Read the fine print, they are a summer deal, to ere on the side of caution.

From what I read, the $184 "price of 3 days" tix are "Valid for use now through September 30, 2010." and are a summer deal but the $209 "5-Day Park Hopper® Bonus Ticket" says "Valid now thru January 3, 2011.". I am traveling in October 2010, so that is why I'm looking at buying the $209 ones now in case prices do go up. :cool2:
