Will Disneyland be crazy busy this weekend?

We are thinking of taking a very spontaneous trip to California this weekend!
We want to watch the Oilers play the Mighty Ducks, and of course, do Disney for a few days!!
(funny how we can't get tickets to watch the Oilers here but we can travel thousands of miles to find tickets!!)

Is there anything special going on this weekend in Anaheim?
Is it a long weekend in the US?
If so, it is going to be crazy busy isn't it?

Any ideas how to do this the cheapest way?

It is a long weekend--Memorial Day on Monday. I imagine it will be busy, but don't know how much. The summer season hasn't started, so it's mostly locals.

Saw a few MD jersey folks wandering around today at DL, but not enough Oilers. Silly how we aren't able to even WATCH the game down here unless you have OLN. Memorial Day is usually busy, kicking off summer, but with our weather turning again (gloomy/rainy), we'll have to see how the weekend turns out.

I hope not, at least on Friday I hope it isn't. That is the day we will be there.

DH already said that if we are going, we all have to go out and buy Oilers jerseys to wear!!

You can't watch the game on your local channels?? What a shame!! We have it on a few channels up here.

If they keep winning though, we may have no reason to go down to Anaheim if they sweep it in 4!
