We will be delivering two pillowcases to guest services for our DD’s. I was going to purchase some colorful sharpie markers this week. Will they utilize the markers that I supply, or do they use a stock of ones already on board, of standard colors? I was going to get a colorful array of sharpie fine points that are on sale at Staples, but did not want to spend the money if they would not be used.

Just returned from the Wonder and they used the sharpies i provided usin all the colors I enclosed. It really turned out nice so I would have to advise you to go ahead and buy your own and put them in the bag with the pillow cases use a variety of colors.
Also think about throwing in a teeshirt my nieces turned out wonderfullly. If you have any other questions please feel free to ask.

I purchased a plain ball hat for my son and a plain tote bag for my daughter (from Michael's craft store) along with some fabric markers. I put it all in a plastic bag and they did use the markers I supplied. The colored markers on the white hat and bag looked totally great!

I bought a package of 8 shapries to have two tee shirts and two pillowcases signed. They did not use them. They also only used one color on each item....ie, one pillowcase was signed all in red, one all in blue. I was a little disappointed because I wanted them to be more colorful, but the kids LOVED them. I guess it depends on Mickey mood!:teeth:

We will be doing the pillowcase thing on our cruise in May, & I was wondering if anyone could tell me if you have to take the pillowcases to guest services to have them signed, or can we take them to the characters during their autograph sessions? Is it just easier to take them to guest services?

If someone could help with this question, I would really appreciate it.

Thanks!:wave2:

I put in some brightly colored ones, but they were all signed in black (wonderfully so, however!). What we did to brighten it up was use the colors when we had our servers, cabin attendant, and the captain add their autographs :D

We actually took ours to the Princess autograph session on Tuesday (?); just as we got there, the line closed. The lady who was sort of coordinating it all could tell we were disappointed, and she offered to take it and have them all done, and for us to pick it up at Guest Services on Wed. night. It would've been fun to have at least some of them done right in front of us, but this was fine. And those autographs are good...ds9 checked them against his trading cards and declared them authentic ::yes::
