Here's The Plan -
We will be driving to Epcot and staying till after Illuminations.
We will then take the monorail to MK for the evening EMH - which runs till 1AM.
We will then take the bus back to POP and I will retreive the car the next day.

I am assuming there will be no Disney transportation back to Epcot @ 1AM.

Q. Will they tow my car?

Why not just park at the Ticket and Transportation Center and take the monorail to Epcot. Then when you're done there, hope the monorail back to the TTC and take the MK monorail. When you're done there, you can then take the monorail back to the TTC thus avoiding worrying about whether or not they'll tow your car. It's not a risk worth taking, IMO.

Why don't you ride the bus to Epcot then monorail to MK and take the bus back to Pop after EMH. I also wouldn't take a chance on leaving it all night at Epcot!

I won't go into details - but the fact is we MUST drive to Epcot.

Q. Will Disney tow my car if I leave it overnight in Epcot?

Thanks!

I can't imagine they would, but I would just call them and ask. They'll tell you, I'm sure. I'm sure they've had stranger requests :)

If you are staying at the Pop that means you will have a parking pass to leave in your car window, right? Shouldn't be a problem leaving your car at Epcot with a Disney parking pass in the window. :confused3 :confused3

Would you be able to take a cab from MK back to Epcot to pick up the car? (Will they still let you into the parking lot after hours?)

This board is great for info and tips, but since you must drive to Epcot and you are concerned about whether or not your car will be towed, IMO, only Disney can answer that question. I would bet even they won't be able to guarantee the answer since so often you speak to one cast member and later another gives you different info.

In this post 9/11 era, I would guess that they wouldn't be too happy to have an 'abandoned' car in a parking lot, but I'm sure it does happen. I second (or third) the idea that you should call Disney, or ask at the parking lot when you get there!

If they do tow it, will that be a huge problem? You'll have to be prepared for that as well.

You say you HAVE TO drive to Epcot.
So why not DRIVE from Epcot to MK?
Parking will be no problem and no cost.

Then, you're done.

If you have to drive to Epcot. Why are you taking the bus back? Why don't you drive back as well?

Something is fishy with this. . . .

I doubt they will allow you to leave your car parked there overnight. Why would you want to, anyway? I would be afraid something would happen to it, sitting there all alone overnight. JUst take it with you wherever you are going.

I completely agree.

If you are saying you have to drive to epcot it is just as close to drive to the ttc and catch the monorail I know that is what my daughter does and she is a cast member. i mean when we are there visting we just always park at the ttc and catch the monerail and park hop. dont forget your room key because you will need it to get your emh band.

If you leave your car in the lot overnight (parking pass or not) there is a good chance it will get towed. If you really cant just take the bus to Epcot then I would suggest parking at the TTC to begin with or simply driving from Epcot to MK after Illuminations.

I'm not sure what the would do with the car, but I can't imagine that they would ignore a car that was left in the lot. They may think the driver is still in the park. This doesn't sound like a good idea to me.

How do you know there won't be a monorail running late back to EPCOT just for those that did park there? I've parked at EPCOT before and retireved my car (via monorail) a few hours after EPCOT closed, though I don';t think it was 1am. I'm sure they won't have all the trains running, but maybe they have one on the track for your type of situation. I definately would NOT leave my car there overnight, given the security concerns in the world today, it would make sense for Disney to tow it.

I would guess they would tow it. Once year we were the last ones out of Magic Kingdom, I mean the trams had stopped running, and a disney van actually came up to us as we were approaching where the trams pick up passengers, and asked us if that was out car. They drove us to the car, and said they had been concerned about the car...This was pre 9/11, so I can only imagine now what they would do.. I would not take the chance.

I drive between the parks a lot. If you must drive to epcot, (and not the transporation center to park), as suggested, why not drive to Epcot, then when done at Epcot, drive to the trasportation center. Your car will be there when you come out of MK>

I am guessing that, if you had indeed missed the last monorail or bus back to Epcot, you can go to Guest Relations and give them the license number and they will either chauffeur you over to get the car, or leave it there for you to retrieve tomorrow.
