Wonder if Disney will ever classify the Jamaica section at CBR as a "Skyliner Rooms"? And of course tack an extra $20-$30 onto the rate.

I think that's mostly in our hands. If we start requesting those rooms a lot, then we are telling Disney that they're worth more money.

I think they should. I am sure most everyone requests those buildings so they are closer to the skyliner. When everyone wants the same rooms, scores of people will be unhappy when their room requests weren’t met. Make people pay for those rooms and everyone will know up front if they will have a room close to the skyliner.

Well if it has ran through my mind, I am sure it has ran through Disney's mind as well.

When Skyliner opened, the room price at Pop Century went up about $30.00 a night,so Disney must consider all the room at POP Skyliner rooms!lol

I don’t think they would charge for a skyliner room because with how frequently the skyliner goes down in storm season (most of the year) they would have guests clamoring for refunds. They just raise rates for everyone without specifically calling it out as a skyliner surcharge so as not to create the appearance they are guaranteeing skyliner access.

We really liked Riviera, but more often than not skyliner was not running in August.

I would absolutely state that these rooms should charge LESS to guests. We stayed in the ground floor corner room - the very closest possible room to the skyliner. It was awful. They tested and serviced the skyliner overnight every night. Clanging and yelling and alarms going off made it impossible to sleep.

🤫 don’t give them any ideas. But looking at what they’ve done at other resorts, adding more view categories and upcharging if you so much as looked at a blade of grass, or a puddle I wouldn’t be surprised.

Oh my gosh!!! No thank you then!
