Will Disney offer discounts for July

Does anyone think that Disney will offer discounts in July at the value hotels since the value hotels are at the new summer rate which is higher? Will Disney get the same number of people to book July at the value resorts that they had last summer even at the new higher rates?

The only time I can go on vacation is in the summer months. Last year was my first year on Disney property and I am hooked. I don't think I can go to Orlando again and stay offsite.

My nephew was only 6 at the time and he is Pop Century crazy. That is the only place he wants to go. We spent 7 days at Pop Century and 10 at Allstart Sports and he was extremely upset that we had to leave Pop. He didn't like Allstar Sports at all.

I was considering going in August since it is value season starting August 5th, but I would rather go in July. If they offer any discounts, when would they come out?

They did not offer AP discounts at value resorts last year for June or July. Only the DVC resorts and EPCOT delux resorts had AP discounts for July. If there are no AP discounts or FL residents discounts, I would have to say the chances of a general public discounts will not happen. JUne and July was so busy last year at the value and moderates that folks on the disboards reported that they were being called by Disney and asked to move their vacations to another month. I believe Mary has a history of past discounts on her website (mousesavers). There have been very few general public codes released for this past year. Only if Disney needs to fill rooms, and after offering the discounts to AP and FL folks first, will they offer GP room only codes. However, there could be a package released for that timeframe.
