Sorry, Buzz2001

I guess we were posting at the same time.

We stayed in a Jr Suite at CSR last year. I believe it was $445 during Peak season (we went in April 2006). It is basically 2 connecting rooms. You have your traditional room with 2 double beds, tv, small table and chairs, bathroom. The connecting room also has a bathroom, tv, Murphy bed, 2 wicker chairs, small table and chairs. So it will sleep 6.

Oops, I see Buzz beat me to it!

I think Disney will build another Moderate resort when they have need of it. I don't think they would really build one to give us something "different" to try. Right now, it's very easy to get discounts and codes at both the values and mods. which means they have vacancies that are causing them to release discounts to fill the rooms. The Deluxe resorts are smaller and fill up much faster. It's harder and harder to get a discount at them, and by that reasoning, Disney has a greater need (and profit potential) for more Deluxe resorts. If it gets to the points that the mods and values are consistantly filling up, then I think we will see new resorts in those catagories.

1) As others, I don't see Disney building ANY MORE resorts.
2) Let alone a Moderate resort.
. . . they will build DVC's because it is instant full profit, instead of 20 years
. . . they can get other hoteliers build resorts. and just reap rents
. . . they don't risk low occupancy, like slow times or after 9/11
