Will Contemporary hold luggage while we're on a 4 day cruise?

We have a split stay, with a DCL 4 night in the middle. In the past, when we've gone to Universal for a few days, we've had part of our luggage forwarded to the next Disney resort. However, we've not done it for the Contemporary.

Part of our group will be driving down to WDW. The rest will fly in. While we have enough room in our van to seat everyone going back & forth to the Port, we don't have enough room for all the luggage. Since it's only a 4 night cruise, we don't want to take so much with us on the ship anyway. We'll want to have the remaining luggage when we check in at BLT.

We're packing the car now, and I'm worried about when we go from the BWV to the Port, and then back to BLT, that we just won't have the room.

Has anyone had any experience with this? Since the Contemporary is a convention hotel, I didn't know if that will make it more likely, or less likely, that they will hold our luggage.

We did a cruise on the Dream last may with a split stay before the cruise at AKL and then to BLT afterwards.Left some of the luggage with AKL and they transferred it over for us....just FYI though, had a little issue and they couldn't find it at BLT, make sure you check in at bell services at the contemporary to pickup, ours had been put in long term storage as it was there a few days!
