Will Chef Mickey's go back to buffet style?

Is the current family style format due to Covid? Staffing? Or is the intention to keep it that way forever? Anyone have any info or guesses?

Just our opinion, but I expect the current style is a result of the pandemic and some staffing issues. I also think many of the folks going to CM's in the new format actually like it! I wouldn't mind if it stays!! But I fully expect at some point they'll go back to the buffet and a more up-close experience with the characters. Just a guess and opinion......

They are already back to the up-close experience with characters. I don't know what will happen with the buffet, but I imagine it'll come back eventually since other places have (Crystal Palace).

We hope it stays too! We go next month and check all the time to make sure it’s still family style buffets totally gross us out and we would love to eat here!!!

Bring back the buffet!!!! Family style your paying the same price for a quarter of the selection

Definitely needs to go back to buffet. I understand why they changed it, but the selection is small and the food wasn’t great. I did breakfast and dinner in modified format and hated it.

I’m surprised that it hasn’t, given that ever since it reopened last year, Goofy’s Kitchen (very similar to Chef Mickey’s, but in California) has been full buffet, just as it always was.

I think it will eventually, probably just based on staffing and other metrics. I know Hollywood & Vine is going back to buffet in the next 30 days. I wouldn't expect many upgrades in selection on food items for anything that does go back to buffet. While it would be nice to see, I just think the current trend is less value for more $$$ for everything as of late.
