Will Chef Mickey let me add one from 3 to 4?

I have Chef Mickey Breakfast reserved. Its for a party of 3, but Im hoping to add one more to make it 4? Does anyone have experience of being successful or unsuccessful with this?? Thanks!

Yes, you should even be able to do it on your phone when you check in.

Probably can do this, though not all restaurants offer you the ability to add guests on checkin.

If you are concerned, call up your reservation online and select modify. Change the number of guests to 4. You should be offered the same time. Update and you can relax!

Usually yes, but I can recall people posting that they were not offered the option on checkin. Less is always fine… it’s adding that seems to sometimes be an issue.

Going from 3 to 4 won’t change the table size so I can’t see it being a problem. If I was concerned, though, I’d just go into the ressie online and modify. I do that all the time and it takes literally seconds. But then I’m a “cross my t’s and dot my i’s” personality…. I relax better when my ducks are in a row. So I’d want to do it ahead of time. The only kind of surprises I like are happy ones! LOL

Less can end up costing you money though - some of the event packages (Rose & Crown fireworks) and Signature Restaurants have charged either no show or the full price for a no show person in the group. This happened to us (had booked 3 for R&C fireworks dinner and only had 2 go - we paid the full event package charge for our missing person - I tried to call in advance, but that didn't work); somewhere on this forum I read about a person's experience at a Signature restaurant. For us going forward, we will always get our reservation modified in advance (or cancel it) to be on the safe side... or, invite a solo traveler to join us and spread a bit of Disney magic!

So sorry that happened to you. I’ve heard similar stories with Candlelight Processional reservations where fewer people arrived than booked.

I agree! I’d rather modify the reservation ahead of time if I can.
