Will cancelling a resort stay also cancel a VIP tour?

Hi, friends! We are going down to WDW at the end of the month, and were going to stay on property but just got a heck of a deal offsite. If I cancel our on-property reservation, is there any chance that it will somehow trigger a cancellation of our VIP tour that's scheduled? I'm super paranoid about such things!

No, you do not need to be staying on property to do a VIP Tour. If you were going to be picked up at your resort, you do need to email and change that information, though.

I think the question may be he used the 60+10 booking to book it so if he cancelled the stay would it affect that. But maybe I'm incorrect

I don't think that works for booking a VIP tour. It is 60 days, no matter if you are onsite or offsite. No advantage for VIP bookings for onsite.

FYI, it’s definitely 60+10. I booked a VIP tour at the 70 day window with a long stay a couple of months ago.
