Will cancelling a few days off of res effect my AAA discount?

We are thinking of moving off site for Pres. Day Weekend because of the outrageous rates at ASMo for those days (and we won't be doing parks on those days anyway). We can save over $200. My question is, if I change my reservation to drop a couple of days, does that in any way risk losing my AAA rate (this is a room only reservation)?

Thanks,
:wizard: Beth

Unless things have changed, then no. It would only potentially affect it if you were trying to add days.

If you booked through Disney and not AAA or a TA, then nope, you won't lose your AAA room-only rate. I actually just did this myself yesterday due to flights. I had booked 8 nights and cut it down to 6. It's not a problem.

Are are talking about dropping days at the begining or end of your stay? (Not during the middle) I am asking because I also noticed that your ticker says you will be there for the Daytona 500 which makes getting a room at a location in or near Daytona almost impossible and very expensive. I have payed more for a room in Daytona during Speed Week (Motel 6 type) then I have at a Deluxe at WDW.

At the end. I have already quoted rooms at several hotels near Disney for the 15th-19th for much less than ASMo (well under $100/night). We don't want to stay anywhere near Daytona :scared1: :rotfl:

Then you should be OK with dropping the days off your reservations. Have a GREAT TRIP at WDW and the DAYTONA 500. Both are wonderful.
