What are the will call locations these days? Can we exchange our vouchers at WL guest services or directly outside the MK (and not the TTC)?

Thanks!

I would think you can do it at guest services .

We did ours at the MK guest relations. I was under the impression that guest services at the resorts can't issue Aps, but if I'm wrong, that would be great since it's a lot more convenient than doing it at the parks. Keep us posted and have a great trip!

None of the resorts are able to process annual pass transactions.

But you should be able to go to any Guest Services booth/office.

Best wishes -

Darn. Well, since we'll be going to the MK from VWL after checking in on our arrival day can someone tell me if we can take the boat over and exchange our vouchers directly in front of the MK or do we have to go back to TTC first to do this?

Thanks!

Yes, you can. I think that jarestell was saying that as well.

Will call is actually different than a voucher but we have done both of those transactions at MK guest services.

Just to expand some on what has already been covered--I had the same question for our trip earlier this month. I had TWO people at WDW ticketing tell me over the phone that I should be able to get my AP at the resort. When I told them what the DIS board was saying about NOT being able to get them at the resort, they STILL told that I could.

Well, the DIS was right...as usual! After checking in at BWV I went to the concierge desk and asked if they could issue an annual pass. They said NO. It must be done at guest relations either at one of the parks or at the TTC.

MK was our first park that night, so DD and I went over to guest relations (right next to the MK entrance turnstiles on the right), handed them my computer printout, photo ID and blue membership card and had my AP in no time.

Good luck and have a GREAT trip!

We just did this one month ago today at the guest relations to the right of the turnstiles at MK--very easy process. Have a great vacation! :sunny:

You can also exchange your vouchers at the Guest Service locations at DTD although it sounds like MK will work well for your family.

I was told recently by MS that the voucher isn't really necessary. The CM I talked to said that if I went to any Guest Services window with my DVC membership card and a photo i.d., that I could buy an AP and still get the DVC discount. Can anyone verify this? We are leaving in 4.5 weeks.

It is true, Mary J. It is often the easiest since you must go to Guest Services to redeem a voucher anyway.

You CANNOT get the DVC AP at the TTC. I showed up there in December and was told I had to go to the Guest Relations booth at the entrace to MK. You don't need to have previously purchsed them, or have a voucher, you can purchase them same day with your DVC card and photo ID for all adults.

Hope this helps!

You do not need the voucher, but for many of us with multiple tickets to purchase, we purchase them one or two at time to spread out the cost. Usually I have to buy four so all at once that can be kind of a hit.Purchasing vouchers spreads things out so they are painless, and it keeps the CC bill upon returning home from being dreaded! :rotfl2:

Of course a big advantage of ordering your APs ahead of time is the ability to then call and get a DDE card! :cool1:

But not if you choose the "will call" option! You need an actual pass or a voucher to order the DDE. The confirmation number you get with the "will call" option won't work to order the DDE.

Yes, I have gathered that is true although I have no personal experience. But on the other hand I think will call is just suggested by MS when there is not enough time to receive the voucher anyway. At least that was so in our case. But the AP was for one of our sons and we didn't need DDE for him.

In that event, you could still call the DDE office during their office hours once you have the AP and pick up the temporary DDE. Is it still a sheet of paper as people were reporting early on. That alone would make me call far ahead enough to get the actual voucher.

This is weird. I bought them online yesterday and did the will call option. On the confirmation sheet that printed out (with a bar code on it) it says to go to either guest relations at Epcot, MGM, AK OR the TTC!

"Will Call Pickup Instructions:
Upon arrival, you can pick up your Will Call ticket order by presenting your Will Call Certificate, along with a valid photo ID (e.g. driver's license, passport or military ID), at one of the following ticket sales locations: Epcot®, Disney-MGM Studios®, Disney's Animal Kingdom® Theme Park or the Ticket and Transportation Center at Magic Kingdom® Park. Ticket orders placed before midnight (Eastern Time) can be picked up the next day."

Sooo, conflicting info! I wish I could find out for sure so we don't ride the boat over to the MK for our ADR that evening and find out we have to go back to TTC to pick them up. We are arriving that afternoon and won't have alot of time.

We did go to DTD last time we got APs (pre DVC discount) with the will call option and personally I think it took alot of time. It is hard to find parking and with only two CMs working in that small office we had quite a wait.

Our one experience with will call was a year ago this month. We did go to the MK entrance to have it issued. I really doubt that has changed. As everyone said, don't forget ids and the DVC card.

There is a poster named Golden Oldie who knows absolutely everything about tickets. You might try posting on the theme parks board or PMing her.

Have a great vacation!

Despite what your confirmation says, you can pick up your will call DVC AP at the Guest Relations window to the right of the MK turnstiles with no problem whatsoever.

llp479: You got bad information from the ticket booth CM who you went to. The will call tickets can most definitely be picked up at the TTC ticket windows. If they told you they couldn't be, they either were too busy (often happens during morning park opening hours that they send you to GR for that instead of holding up the ticketing lines) or they were new and didn't know that they could do it there.
